Using Embodied Intelligence to Polish thePearl on the Huangpu River: Wisson's Fanxi® Robotic Services Help ShanghaiNovotel Atlantis Refresh Its "UFO" RestaurantRecently, the Shanghai Novotel Atlantis, part of the French Accor Group, has introduced robotic services from WissonTech's Fanxi® brand. Utilizing aerial flexible cleaning robots, the hotelsuccessfully tackled the cleaning challenges of the glass curtain wall of itsiconic top-floor revolving restaurant. This project stands as the firstimplemented "lighthouse" initiative under the strategic"ecosystem co-creation" partnership between the Accor Group andWisson Tech. It has not only significantly enhanced the hotel's environmentalmaintenance efficiency and optimized the visual experience for guests but alsoinfused exceptional service quality with technological depth, shaping anindustry-leading intelligent image. Simultaneously, it establishes a replicablebenchmark for the scaled application of innovative technology within the Accorsystem and for hotel intelligent management.
At the recently concluded 27th ChinaInternational High-Tech Fair (CHTF), Wisson Tech signed strategic cooperationagreements with a group of industry leaders including the Accor Group, ChinaUnicom Shenzhen Branch, CSCEC Steel Structure, Zhongyou Yunshi, KeyuanConstruction Group, Boda Construction Group, and Great Wall Decoration Group.Through an innovative cooperation model of "world-class drone aerialcleaning solutions + application demands from leading enterprise clients acrosssectors + a high-quality regional service provider network," and via formssuch as direct hardware procurement, direct service procurement, and partnerservices, they jointly aim to build a flagship-level aerial cleaning serviceecosystem in the industry. As a shining pearl on the Shanghai HuangpuRiver skyline, the Shanghai Novotel Atlantis has always been committed toproviding exceptional accommodation and dining experiences for global guests.Among its features, the UFO-shaped revolving restaurant on the 50th floor, withits unique architectural aesthetics, has become a city landmark. Its panoramicview from 250 meters above ground is a dream destination for countless guests.Maintaining the ultimate cleanliness and transparency of the restaurant's glasscurtain wall, ensuring every guest enjoys an unparalleled visual experience, has been the hotel's unwavering commitment to quality. In routine maintenance, the restaurant'sunique "UFO" structure—featuring a 45-degreeinward-sloping glass curtain wall and an outward overhang of 4-5 meters at thetop edge—posed significant challenges for traditionalcleaning methods. There were numerous "structural dead zones" in thecleaning area that conventional manual cleaning couldn't reach. Furthermore, the hotel had previously tried several cleaning drones, but due to limitationsin cleaning angles, they were ineffective on slanted and top surfaces, leadingto dirt accumulation in some areas that affected the curtain wall's appearance. Facing challenges like water pressureattenuation at ultra-high floors and the complex building configuration, theWisson project team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and technicalleadership during delivery by leveraging the AP3-P3 flexible tethered cleaningsystem: On one hand, the delivery team did notadopt the conventional method of breaking height for pressurization. Instead, they ingeniously utilized the hotel's floor structure to implement a top-downgravity-fed water supply solution. Drawing water from the 50th floor andsetting up an efficient work platform on the 49th floor, they successfullyensured a stable high-pressure water flow required for cleaning. Additionally,to clean the overhanging areas of the UFO-shaped roof, the drone had to executea challenging "<"-shaped approach flight path, which severelytested pilot control and real-time team coordination. The delivery teamaccomplished this extreme operation with superb skill and extensive experience. On the other hand, the unique"flexible" capabilities of the AP3-P3 system precisely addressed thespecific challenges of this project: **Flexible Wide-Angle Adjustment:** For the45-degree inward slope and the top platform, the AP3-P3, with its flexiblejoints, allows for flexible adjustment over a wide range of angles. Thisenables the cleaning nozzles to precisely conform to the curtain wall surface, achieving a deep,-free clean that was previouslyimpossible with any other solution. Stubborn, long-accumulated stains werethoroughly removed. **Flexible Joint Self-Adaptive Balance,"Zero-Distance" Operation Without Fear of Collision:** At 240 metershigh, where airflow conditions are complex and variable, the AP3-P3, aided bythe self-adaptive balance and collision buffering of its flexible joints, canperform "zero-distance" contact-based operation without fear ofcollision. It simultaneously remains stable against high-altitude airflowdisturbances, ensuring stable flight. This maximizes cleaning pressure while ensuring safety, guaranteeing the cleaning. Ultimately, over a period of 3 days, theproject team efficiently and with high quality completed the cleaning of nearly2,000 square meters of curtain wall and successfully delivered the project, fully meeting expectations. The Shanghai Novotel Atlantis has always been atthe forefront of the industry, actively exploring and introducing innovativesolutions to enhance its hardware facilities and guest experience. Thissuccessful collaboration with Wisson Tech not only solved a long-standingmaintenance challenge but also affirmed the hotel's relentless pursuit of quality through cutting-edge technology. Mr. Cai Jun, Deputy General Manager ofShanghai Novotel Atlantis, stated: "The unique structure of our top-floorrestaurant has always been a in our maintenance work. The AP3-P3 system from Wisson Tech and the professional capability of theirteam exceeded our expectations. They not only solved the technical but also ensured zero disruption to hotel operations throughout theentire process. The results are astounding. We are extremely satisfied withthis collaboration and eagerly look forward to applying this innovative modelin broader hotel scenarios to accelerate the intelligent transformation andupgrading of hotel services." **On-Site Delivery Successfully PassedAcceptance** In May of this year, Wisson Tech launchedits robotic service brand "Fanxi®".
